The RRSP contribution deadline is Monday March 2, 2015. If you are wanting to reduce your taxes for 2014, RRSP contributions before this deadline will reduce your taxable income.

Provincial Budget Day Tuesday

While it is expected that Finance Minister Mike De Jong will table a balanced budget it is generally recognized that this budget is part of the upcoming election campaign more than a “business as usual” budget. RRSP Deadline Mar 1, 2013

In order to deduct Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) contributions against 2012 income the contributions must be made by March 1, 2013.

The amount that you are eligible to contribute is based on prior year income amounts. Look on your Notice of Assessment from the 2011 Income taxes for the maximum amount that CRA will allow you to deduct.
